    My New Chanter

    This is my new chanter I had made from Lindsey Bagpipe Company. I have him making me a new set of pipes as well.

    I've never seen a green chanter before. Will the rest of the sticks be green, too?

    Yes. I loved the way it turned out and he agreed, so we talked about doing the pipes in the same color. Instead of the the traditional ivory drone cap, he'll give it a castle top. The castle tops look awesome!

    It plays great with a Gibson reed...

    It's american beach wood infused with a phanolic resin. It's a hard composit wood very similar to blackwood...
