Need help identifying kilt maker
I'm trying to find the name of a kiltmaker and where I might be able to purchase another kilt (by the same manufacturer) online. It's a casual 8 yard poly-viscose kilt in the Macleod of Harris tartan. I am really happy with the kilt, but I would like to see what else the manufacturer offers in the interest of another purchase.
I was told by the retailer that these were made in Scotland, but there's no name on the tag. I'm just hoping one of you very knowledgeable gents might recognize the tags and have some information. Is this the dreaded Gold Brothers kilt that Xmarkers have lamented for years now? See pics below, and thanks again for all of your help!

Thanks for taking the time.
Kris

Re: Need help identifying kilt maker
I can't be absolutely certain but I think it's Heritage of Scotland, which I also believe is the Gold (Gould?) Brothers
It is certainly not a label used by Scottish kilt makers and the words "authentic woven tartan" give the game away Those words are pretty meaningless and attempt to deceive purchasers into thinking it is an authentic "woven and made in Scotland" product when it clearly is not

Agreed! They are also clearly machine made. Quality is not top notch, (even for machine made). Still, if the price is right, it could be a perfectly serviceable beginners kilt.

Wow. You can tell a lot from an iPhone photo! I really didn't put the pics up to be the subject of condescension, but thanks for your input. I like the kilt, and it's a good deal better made than some of the other casual kilts I've seen. I'm certainly not a wool only guy. I live and play in Texas. Texas means hot weather, and these inexpensive "beginners" kilts are great for that kind of thing.

No worries Thomas! I was replying to another poster--not you. Thanks for your help, I think they're good kilts too.
