    Smile Three Generations

After a long & hard battle with throat cancer, my dad's health has finally started to cooperate. His beard's a little thinner, he's lost some weight, and his taste in food has changed dramatically, but he's got a clean bill of health now and is loving every minute his life. He and my step-mother recently went traveling across the countryside and spent a week hanging out in my little corner of the world (they currently live half-way across the country, but they've retired and are thinking of moving out this way, at least for a few years). Here he is with me & my son; while I haven't completely talked him into a kilt, I did manage to convince my wife that Aiden (my son) needed one.

Nice picture! Your wee man looks smart in his kilt, and I'm glad you're dad is doing better. It's great he could spend the time with your family; your son will have some good memories.

Aiden looks great. Black watch and kids mean business!

hahaha - I wish I had thought to get a picture the other day; he was parading around the house wearing nothing but the kilt with a Nerf gun tucked into the waist, "looking for robots" - Ladies From Hell indeed!

yes he does! I may be thirty-two years old, but my dad is still Superman and he's one helluva grandpa

I think I can talk him into a kilt once he gets his weight stabilized a bit.
