Tonight Billy Connolly was interviewed on the Parkinson show.
Billy spoke at length about the wonders of wearing a kilt and about how he introduced Parkinson to kilting.

It was an unexpected promotion of the kilt, a nice surprise.

Hi Blu

'Parky' is arguably the UK's best chat show host. He is in his senior years (about 70) now but still has a wonderful laid back style and charisma.

Ha! Parky didn't get a word in at all with Billy Connolly, that's rare.

I think Connolly is funny sometimes but his irreverent behaviour and disgusting language means that I rarely see him on telly.

I thought on parkinson's show he might be better behaved.
Still, my point is, he was promoting the kilt, I'm glad I don't have to endorse the behaviour of all those who promote the kilt, I'm just glad that the kilt is promoted.

P H B - How can you!!! Billy Connolly is superb! He is not just a stand up comedian, but a social commentator, satirist and not a bad actor either (Mrs Brown).

We've had this conversation before, but you've never said 'why' you don't like him. Is it the bad language. It can be a bit choice.

I'm not struck with billy connolly either despite his promotion of the kilt. But parky is a different matter.

In my opinion, the first and best chat show host. Parkinson is shown in north america i'm sure. worth a look.
