So far I am awaiting news about Spirit of 1994, but at the moment it seems it will probably be woven in Kenya.
My second kilt, in Botswana tartan, was also woven in Cape Town, and its raw material was South African wool. But it was designed by a Scot, David MacGill. Tartans4Africa purchased the rights to his entire series of tartans based on African flags.
Egbert also made that kilt.
