Halloween 2011
In another thread I mentioned that I would be going as the Fairy Godfather for Halloween.
I'm glad to say that the parties went off beautifully. Halloween in Japan is fun! All the lovely J-girls come out and dress up... I kid you not - I must have had my picture taken a few hundred times that night, each time with a different, beautiful woman. Sayuri-chan even came and introduced herself to me twice. Remember, the Japanese love things that are "cute" -- and my costume certainly qualified. My wife took it all in stride too. :-) God bless 'er! She looked good in her "Queen of Broken Hearts" costume as well though.
I took 1st place in the costume contest and won me a nice BBQ grill... Which is good -- I need a new one.
Here are a few pics.... Oh! One more thing -- could I ask some of the rabble a small favour and head over to Lookbook (where they're having a Halloween costume contest to win $500 from American Apparel) and "Hype" my costume? It would be most appreciated!

Re: Halloween 2011
In the 70s we used to have loads of parties like this, then dwindled in the 80s, had a brief upsurge, but unless you go a nightclub, and pay the rip off prices, there's nothing much like that any more.
Looks liek you had a great time.

Thank you all! Indeed, it was quite a night. We got home at about 5am.... And the next day, if hangovers were U.S. States, mine would've been Alaska.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the man nor the series... Can you elaborate?
