I had no idea Halloween was celebrated in Japan! How fun! Looks like your celebrations went off better than mine... I almost got into two accidents on the way to my party on Friday night, so I said "Forget this" and went home. Glad you had a good time for me!!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the man nor the series... Can you elaborate?

Brilliant photos! Here is my lovely wife, Stephanie and I at a Halloween party over the weekend. Stephanie went as a 1920's flapper, and myself as a 1920's golfer, in the style of Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen - no Argyle hose or sweater - more of a authentic, subdued look. I was going to do earth tones, complete with brown tweed plus fours, camel v-neck sweater, brown tweed cap, and brown and white spectator shoes, but instead, I went with the 'dark' look, in order to better match my wife. We had a great time!

    Cheers,

Great costume and brilliant imagination. I could never pull it off as I don't think I could find the shoes to fit these skis they call my feet.

    Great pics everyone!

In a recent thread I noted that I would be costumed as "The Ghostly Piper of Duntrune". The costume came out fairly well, but I wish I had some better images. Either way, I hope everyone has a safe & fun day.

    Happy Halloween!

Jim, my wife says that with legs like yours you should be permitted to post to Alan H's thread for women only to comment on men's legs.

Size 10 men's? (12 women's)? If so, I'd prob. sell 'em to you cheap. I just don't see many occasions to wear them again anytime soon and the wife's a women's size 9...

Thanks for sharing photos of your own events, folks. Please don't be shy to post up more! I especially liked the ghost piper... That costume would've won one of the contests around here too!

Lol! Thank your wife for me. I'll take that as a compliment. But reading through that thread, I'm afraid I wouldn't score many points with the ladies of XMarks. Yes, this costume did require a razor and moisturizer. Actually, truth be told, I wanted to do it right so the hair came off a week prior, I used moisturizer afterwards, shaved once more mid-week, and then just prior to the evening events, again using lotion each time. I wanted to avoid a) stubble and b) speed bumps (ingrown hairs). Both look horrible.

I will however save my personal views on the matter of leg-shaving by men for another occasion since this is a thread about Halloween costumes and I don't want to stray too far off-course.
