Master Britt sort of let us down in the "steely glint" department, I'm afraid.
I played for a wedding, and wore this. Replace the leaf hose with mustard Bowmore ones, and replace the stick with a stand of Graingers, and that was my "outfit".

I'm surprised I was the first to point it out. It jumped right out at me when I first opened the thread. I was really hoping no one else had mentioned it already, but figured everyone else had come to the same conclusion. The resemblance is uncanny!
John Candy even had a similar moustache in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Sadly, though, he did not mix it with the hat, cigar, and the drill.

I laughed too... But indeed I did try to shape a pencil-thin gangster mustache or French mustache (or John Candy mustache for that matter)... And the drill pose with the cigar is pretty spot on.
Fortunately, I'm probably a good 50lb or more lighter than the unfortunate, late Mr. Candy...
