I always imagined that spellt verschnickert, but I always picture Yiddish words with German spelling, because it is, after all, a Low German dialect. When I see them written with an anglicised spelling it always throws me, and I have to sound it out. Of course, Yiddish was generally written in Hebrew script in it's heyday, which may as well be Martian or Quenya to me. The only reason I tend to understand it atall is because of the similarities to German.
For those who are still puzzled, it means drunk. Curiously, I heard the word only the other day while watching a video of 'Robin Hood, Men in Tights', from the lips of Rabbi Tuck.

I am an atheist priest! I obtained my one-click online ordination from the Universal Life Church. We take anyone! Anyone who spent years in seminary might be slightly miffed by that, but it is real enough.
Whether online ordination is valid to officiate a wedding varies depending on where you are. Perfectly OK here in Maryland. No good in Virginia. OK in Michigan, but out-of state priests have to pre-register in that state.
Apparently in Wisconsin an out-of state minister needs a letter of sponsorship from a minster of the same denomination who is a WI resident. That would probably be doable for me (I don't know anyone in WI, but could probably find someone there to sign off), but this also applies to all the conventionally ordained clergy on here who have offered to officiate, so that's something you need to consider if you really do want to ship in Father Bill or someone.
What's more interesting is that you can get anyone ordained online by the ULC, so if you know someone (preferably a WI resident) who isn't a priest but who you'd like to officiate at your wedding, you can get them ordained within minutes!
The ULC has lots of splinter groups, although mine is called the ULC Monastery. They all seem to have the same credo, which is 'Always do the right thing', so I don't suppose it really matters which one you use. Ordination is free, but they sell formal ID to anyone who can prove that they were ordained by the same site. They also sell various priestly merchandise.
And one final thing, you can get married in WI with no officiant atall.
This is not legal advice and I am not an attorney at law.

Correction. Rabbi Tuckman.
And I too, had thought the spelling would have been similar to German, only to find a Yiddish version spelled that way. A former acquaintance, who was raised around Yiddish speakers, once advised that some spellings may vary, based on where the speaker was from. I.e. Germany, Poland, Russia, etc., as Yiddish was at one time a more verbal language, rather than a written one.
