Would it be possible to have a links thread.

What I envisage is one locked post with the links in. Maybe a short blurb and the URL that is all. Then the next blurb and URL and so on.

There would be a second thread with suggestions from members. Along the lines of -

" I have dealt with Horsey Harnesses of Bigtown USA for years and they are good and they take PayPal and their URL is wwww.???.???"

Or by the same token "Mr Jones has retired and all they sell is candy floss now".

A mod would check the link and if good past it into the locked thread. The original post could then be deleted.

All the partners and advertisers could be there.

It could also be used for genealogical searches as well. Just links of a kilting nature.

The reason I am bringing this up, is that I have just posted Tandy's link again.

It would be so much easier to just say 'check out the links'.

Thank you Chas for the suggestion. Let me talk it over with the Moderators and get their input.
