Anyone wanting to get a better handle on British humour could do worse than listen to "the news quiz" on BBC radio 4... available via podcast or on tunein...

It should however be noted that the host Sandy Toksvig is in actual fact Danish...

I get the podcast of the News Quiz and NPR's Wait, Wait don't tell me... each week.

Love them both and it's very interesting to compare the two.....

and don't forget "Scotland's Funny Bits" from BBC Scotland!

I actually stopped listening to NPR's "Wait, Wait..." from here in the States. The questions were so pathetically simple...and the guests very seldom got the answer with out being practically told it outright...and then the replies weren't very funny at all.

Podcasts are an amazing thing...
