    Pick Your Poison triple IPA

Here is my latest home brew.

It's a IPA recipe and a Belgian ale recipe that I combined into one brew. A idea I took from Northern Brewers Houblonmonstre Tripel IPA Extract Kit. After the primary fermentation I let it settle out in a secondary carboy with four ounces of cascade hops. My final gravity reading shown that it had a abv of 8.7%.
It's a fantastically flavorful brew and it's has a nice warmth that should come from a 8.7% beer.

So with out further ado I present to you the:

That sounds good and you have a unique label.

    I like the IPA's I've tried but I haven't had a tripel variety.

Probably the strongest IPA around here is the local brewery Garrison's "Imperial IPA" at 7.0% alc and 70 IBU.

Wish I could try out your's!

wow. do you make labels for all of your brews? the most i do is scrawl something in sharpie on the cap. it makes going to through the beer closet a bit of an adventure at times. i just cracked open my first pumpkin ale (needs to carbonate a bit more) and i bottle my very first single malt/single hop experimental batch yesterday.
a big IIPA is on my to-brew list for the spring...

Yeah I do. I am a graphic artist so I actually enjoy it.

My next beer will be either a pumpkin ale or a stout. I have a great idea for a stout. Im sipping on this beer now and MAN IS IT GOOD!!! It's got a kick to it so a pint or two is all you need. The hops have kicked that harsh high alcohol taste right in the bum and it is really well balanced.

Who do you buy your supplies from? I am really liking northern brewer right now.
