Clan Mackintosh of North America annual brunch

I will be holding the annual Clan Mackintosh brunch on Sunday 11/06 in Westford, MA., as I have for the past 4-5 years. I recently purchased an Argyll coat which I wore for the first time at the Loon Mountain NH Highland Games. Forgive me for saying this, but I felt & looked damn good in it !! I strutted around like a prize cock pheasant. I see now what confidence such an outfit can provide. I will wear it once again in Westford. If the fairer sex cannot control their reaction, it will be no fault of my own.

One of my cousins married a McIntosh, but they know nothing of their clan.

Do you have a waistcoat to go with the jacket? It's been my experience that a good waistcoat adds confidence over and above that provided by a good jacket.

Wallet would not allow for a waistcoat just now, but when I get one I'll be sure to get it from the same vendor as the jacket (J. Higgins) they are a top-notch outfit. I will be wering my Chattan Ancient kilt (the only one I have)today at the above mentioned brunch. Will try & post some photos.
