I must say, my wife must be the exception. There are times when I'll tell her "I think I'll wear my kilt to go out." To which her reply is always "You should, you look great."

But then again, she's the redheaded Irish woman who when we go for a pint at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, looks the war vets in the eye and tells them to stop looking at my legs or they'll have to deal with her....

I have to say that I'm very lucky as I have a wife who's supportive of my kilt-wearing.

When I first told her I was getting a kilt her first reaction was "When are you going to wear it?". A more appropriate question now would be "Apart from work, when are you going to wear trousers?"!!

I wouldn't say she begs me to wear them, but then she doesn't give me a hard time when I do (and when we're out walking, she prefers pinching my bum when I'm wearing a kilt to when I'm wearing jeans)!

    Cheers
    David.

    Kiltaholic

My wife says that my wearing a kilt does'nt bother her, and I quote "I'm just afraid someone is going to embarass you." The other responce is "I'm afraid it will embarass the kids". The only problrm with that is that my two boys like to wear kilts too!
    I've survived DAMN near everything

Well done Donnie, sounds like you have a positive influence on your family - no easy task these days!
I have five kids, one of them likes kilt wearing. 2 boys to go!

Watch it! There's some lawyers in the group!
'bout time lawyers came in for some stick. Police officers get it all the time!!

At least you're not a criminal lawyer, Chris. Otherwise I would have to hate you. I would have no choice but to. It's compulsory to hate all defense lawyers.

Definitely not a criminal lawyer - there's no money in it really, and its pretty much a thankless job!
