Can't speak for Hamish but I suppose if you come from a family background of kiltmakers and have lived with it around you, day in day out, and then work in that same business for a few years you're an expert by default.
Canada's a beautiful country I've got relatives round Ottowa, and have even been once some years ago. I'd love to move there but I think I'm too old now. I never see any jobs out there for psyche nurses anyway.
