Kilt-specific restroom signs?
Walking through a McDonald's today, I saw, as usual, the 'generic' signs on the restrooms.
Women indicated with an Empire waistline dress, Men in trousers.
In a kilt, I fit neither profile.
Graham- you're a signmaker, right? Can you get tartan sticky vinyl?
Make little kilts to stick on those 'Men's' signs?
I figure a die-cut parallelogram would do it, but the tartan or plaid pattern would be important.
Well? What do you think? I'd like to make 'em for crosswalks and other municipal signage, but this could be a start...

Great idea G, I'm sure that could be done. I can see the news headlines already "The Tartan Toilet Terror strikes again, defacing public toilets in our city"
You could print with an inkjet printer a tartan image on to self adhesive paper, then cut out a little 'kilt' and stick it where you will
I saw a nice toilet sign design on Hanks site too, http://www.highlandtide.com/scottish...php?id=freedom

Graham, I think I am going to add a sett pattern on it so that people dont mistake it for a S word.

Hmmm. I dont think I want to "augment" the ladies side with any mamorial enhancement, but I would love suggestions to make this a better shirt...
