On the subject of what they're wearing, I feel like they actually rendered the feilidh-mhor quite well indeed... even though it isn't correct for the period.

Pixar staff, including a couple of the art staff, hung out for almost two solid days at the Living History section of the Pleasanton Highland Games last year....

Just sayin'...

Of course, the main costumes and art direction was settled LONG before that. The program had a full-page color ad for the movie and that was last September.

Hey, this looks fun! I'm going, and I'm NOT taking my grandkids! They'll just squirm around too much, and have to go to the bathroom every ten minutes, and need another drink, and then more popcorn, and then drop their drink, and then whine, and then...who needs all that?

Hmm, gives me pause to wonder if wearing a kilt to the theater is advised. I can just see getting sticky, syrupy Coke spilled on me by some ill mannered, unsupervised rugrat.

Well apparently one of the guys working on the soundtrack was just in Radio Scotland's travellimg folk... He sounded scottish too...

Will be seeing this when it comes out! I have Scottish heritage, love 'girl power' stories, its CGI, and I'm an archer...yes, will definatly be seeing that one. :-)
