It sounds to me like a tie may be more appropriate.
Then you can wear both kilt and tie at the same time.

I think there are several good choices from subdued to unsettling.

Speaking of other runs, has the tartan been registered? Would there be copyright issues with Lovecraft's heirs/publishers? If not, are there plans to register it?

And another run would certainly be possible and plausable... but good luck getting the same colors as in the Original.
Lovecraft's work is finally public domain, after a short 1/2 century of litigation between Arkham House, Weird Tales and others.
Regarding a re-order: At this point nothing is going to be done until the whole holiday season is WELL over and done with.
Ryan is correct, this colour run will most likely never be duplicated as 3 of the 4 colours were custom dyed for us, which gets quite expensive when you're not ordering 100+yds double width.
Regarding the sett being registered, it has not yet been. I'm waiting to wrap up my end of year finances to see what (if any) free funds exist for registry. I also kind of like the idea that it's "off the books". Secret tartan for a secret group - very fitting, I think.

Agreed entirely.
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, none is possible.

Re: Kiltmaker's Input Requested, & Who Wants Cthulu Tartan Yardage?
I received an email from Paul Henry overnight advising that he should be in receipt of my fabric sometime next week. He advised me that apparently Dalgleish were awaiting payment for postage.
I emailed them on the 17th November identifying myself and I specifically asked them to invoice me via PayPal. Logging into PayPal shows that I have received no such invoice from them.
I don't want to panic my R'yleth brothers, but I'm not entirely sure they are reading their emails. Has anyone else been charged carrige yet?
