I’m baaa-aaack!

So, it’s been a while since I’ve dropped by. Why? In a nutshell, Life.

A brief update:

I’m now living in the San Francisco Bay Area with my father. At the moment, I am attending a junior college nearby, and will be attending St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary next Autumn, enrolling in a five-year program that entail both completion of a B. A. in Theology over two years, followed by the three-year M. Div. program. I’m also planning to get into beekeeping.

I continue to wear my kilt on special occasions. I had one blessed at the Kirkin’ O’ the Tartans a few days ago on Saint Andrew’s Day at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church. After the Divine Liturgy, we sat around eating smoked salmon and porridge, and then Fr. Basil got out the Scotch. Absolutely fantastic.

Any way, I hope to get back into the kilt wearing community, maybe go to a kilt night or ten before I leave for seminary. I don’t know if I’ll be posting that much, but I will be hanging around.

Whoo hoo!! my son was born in Mountain View, CA! With any luck, we will get the chance to return and meet you (as well as the rest of the Norcal Rabble) in person. Until, hopefully, then...welcome back!
