A nite for Great S.E.K.S.
It has been a while since we've organized a kilt nite of the Great Southeastern Kilt Society. Taking the opportunity of another visit from the Great White North by Dixiecat, whom many of us met at Stone Mountain, we are hoping to get as many as can make it to a get-together next Thursday, December 8. With the holiday season a lot of us have weekend commitments so Thursday seems like a good option.
Let's target 6:30 pm till whenever at the Royal Oak Pub, 1155 Mt. Vernon Highway #1030, Atlanta. It's pretty much right across the street from the REI store in the same shopping area as the Sandy Springs MARTA station. We could even make it a pub crawl because there's a Tilted Kilt within 250 yards.

Show up. we're a very loose group, in keeping with the name.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in. A pub crawl is a great idea . . . unless we decide to sit instead of crawl.
Good set up.

...geez... Just looked this place up. It's even closer to my house than the Harp. Bravo on the location, Turpin!
EDIT: Ferguson Britt will also be in attendance, it seems.

Why not just come on. It's the greatest club in the world: no dues, no membership requirements (other than showing up and having fun), no tests, and no meetings.

Agreed, and agreed, good sir!
...but if you're male, it would seem that a kilt is somewhat of a must... though honestly, I can't even see us turning away some poor soul in p@nts.

Yeah, we're pretty open aobut that, too. Some of my best friends wear p@nts . . . but I wouldn't want my sister to marry one. I hope Thomas H makes it.

I hope you boys enjoy your get-together, and remember to be true Southern gentleman while DixieCat's around.
