Re: Newby from Southern England
All,
Thanks for the welcomes, it's nice to feel wanted.
Thank you, Mr Rubber Chicken Abuser, for the information regarding the Gordon sett, I was unaware of this. Canada, yes I went there once, Toronto for a weeks conference - the inside of one hotel looks much like another - although I did go to the CN Tower and that place where the water drips over the edge of a rock into a puddle.
Regards,
Ian

Re: Newby from Southern England
Welcome Ian. Greetings from Northern Ireland.
Gordon is a great choice (I am totally biased and have three Gordon kilts).
Regards
John

Re: Newby from Southern England
Ian, a belated welcome to you from a little further to the east from Eastleigh - Storrington in West Sussex.
I am impressed that you have 10 kilts already (albeit in PV; but that's nothing at all to worry about). You are well on the way to catching up with my 102! Not that you need encouragement, it seems but, although I live here in the south of the United Kingdom, I have not worn t******s for over 12½ years, nor do I own any.
Oh, and I know of another almost full-time kiltie who lives near Ringwood, but he's not a member here at XMTS.
Take care,
Ham.
