I use Le Male by Jean Paul Gautier...but as there are variations on the theme within that brand some seasonal I may vary slightly on that.

Re: Cologne, Aftershave, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, etc.
Having spent the last 34 years of my working life in the employ of the United Kingdom's oldest perfumery house (Floris of Jermyn Street, London - Perfumers to HM The Queen and Manufacturers of Toilet Preparations to HRH The Prince of Wales. Founded in 1730 and still in the ownership of the founder's family), I tend to use their products - but only colognes. 'Santal' and 'Elite' mostly, but I love, 'Vetyver', a truly special fragrance which was discontinued a year or two ago. However, I ensured a secret 'stash' of it before it finally disappeared! My all-time favourite, going back maybe 50 years was 'Chanel pour Homme', but it became very expensive - as I had to buy it elsewhere and pay full price for it!
Deodorant: Marks & Spencer's 'Woodspice' suits me perfectly.
Shaving soap/cream: I don't use it. Ordinary toilet soap works just as well when I need a wee tidy-up.
Take care,
Ham.

Re: Eau de Kilt
Really? No-one has tried this? Looks like I might have to get a sample because I'm really curious...

The notes it contains are listed as: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Scotch Pine, Malt Whiskey, Cigar, Heather, Douglas Fir, Rubber, Worn Leather, Highland Mud, Burnt Rubber, Peat Fire and White Truffle.
Needless to say, I'm very intrigued. Has anyone ever smelled this one before?

Oh and for all those who dislike perfume, Brosius' company is called I Hate Perfume

New packaging, same smell:

Hamish,
I have 2/3 of a bottle of Santal that belonged to my father. He was a bay rum man, but swore by Floris for very special occasions.
Brings back memories...
Cheers,

I can only wear a few scents, being allergic to some. I wear Lancome`- Poeme on special occasions, Bath and Body Works -Butterfly Flower, Halle Berry's -Pure Orchid or Sand And Sable. Wish I could wear other scents, but some change into something horrible, and others disappear.
I have the same problem. That sensitive Scottish skin doesn't like cologne/perfume, and can actually burn me. So, I always spray (cologne) or dab (perfume) a tiny amount on my hair. This has opened up a world of new scent options for me, and I hope it may work for you. A little goes a long way.
Artificer, thanks for the tea tree recommendation for getting chlorine out of my hair. I swim twice a day. so I'm going to look into that one.
As for mens scents, I like a nice soap, but woodsy, not spicy. That Alan Cumming scent sounds good if it came in a soap. Other than that, I don't care for scent on a man. Just my two cents.
