Looks like a fun movie...plus am a sucker for anything with traditional bows and arrows....if I wear a kilt it will be my SportKilt...but dont think they would let me also carry a quiver of arrows slung low and one of my osage, vine maple or other longbows.

Saw the preview in a theater last weekend. Will definitely go to see it when released. Previews looked well done as you would expect from Pixar.

Deffinatly going to it kilted as well, but since I'm from MN I'll probably wear either one of my stillwater kilts or a celtic croft kilt to take the oportunity to promote small local buisnesses. And I don't care if the Kilts are historic or not on the acurate scale or not, It boosts interests in the kilt. My only concerne is that it may give off the effect of kilts being costumes and not clothing as they should be considered and resulting in folks wearing the tartan in all manner of uneducated ignorant fashion.

This is a great opportunity for me to get the whole family together right down to the g-g-grandchildren, kilt them all up and go. What Braveheart did to the last generation perhaps this will do to the next (and yes I KNOW Braveheart was historically inaccurate but it boosted attendance at all the Highland Games around here by at least 50%)
Looks like a fun piece.

Hmm, let's see: there's a weany and/or stupid male who can't do anything, a smart, brave capable female who can do anything, and a whole bunch of politically correct subliminal messages. Yep. It's Disney alright!

Re: Disney/Pixar "Brave" second teaser trailer
I heard on the radio this morning that the Atlanta Braves baseball organization is rattling their sabers because they have a problem with the movies title. Can they really be serious about taking on Diney/Pixar over this? When they hold their spring training at Disney's complex in Florida? It sounds like a fine excuse for a bunch of us to kilt up, meet for breakfast, then spend the day hanging around the lobby of the Braves home office................

Oh, my daughter and I are definitely up for this one. Ran the trailer for my wife and she just said, "I can see how YOU might like this...".
Okay...daughter and I will go...kilted...you can stay home...

Re: Disney/Pixar "Brave" second teaser trailer
Thought is, those Disney animated "classics" become part of pop culture. Introducing the idea of kilted men and boys to kids, pres-, tweens and teens?
Cannae that be a goood thing, aye?
