So, I finally got around to getting a couple pictures of my new kilt. I just recently received this hand sewn from one of our own, Bonnie Heather Greene. I was asked to wear it last night to a Holiday Party (an "Ugly Sweater" Party). The following pictures were just a couple that were taken, and do not have the obligatory pleat shot. For those that like the kilt specifications, it is a 15 oz custom weave from DC Dalgliesh in the Cornish Hunting Tartan. It happens to be pleated to the white stripe (not that you can really tell) and is 6 yards. I will try to get a few better pictures later. The pictures really do NOT do justice to the quality of this kilt.
Looks good! And a great party to boot.

Thanks. It was a pretty fun party. Luckily we only lived a block or so away, so I was able to test how warm my new kilt was as I walked home in 30 degree (farenheight) weather. It was warm enough
Very nice...and I love the sweater
love it! =)
Nice! Who was your kiltmaker if I may ask?
Bonnie Heather Greene, a fellow XMTS member, was the maker of the kilt. It fits like a dream. Oh, and for the record, that is an actual sweater of mine (as opposed to an "ugly" sweater). Some people think it is an ugly sweater, but it is warm and I like it
Very nice kilt!
