Hi Phil!
I have not heard of this TV show, although we do have a lot of house make-over programmes here in the UK.
Your description of Howie worries me somewhat. I have NEVER seen him with either a head of hair or a moustache - and I have met with him roughly six times a year for the past five or six years. I cannot think what he might be doing on a Show such as that anyway. I'll probably be speaking with Howie during this coming week, so I'll ask him about that one.
We do have an interior designer, John Amabile, who appears regularly on one of the "house" shows (with Carol Vorderman). He is Scottish and always wears "21st Century Kilts" kilts on the programmes - usually in plain black or camouflage - but, I've never seen him with a moustache either!

OK Phil. Sorry about that. I shouldn't jump to conclusions and should take more note of the subject heading!!
That makes more sense! Yes, Geoffrey (Howie's father) and his wife, Lorna, have a motor yacht. I guess that was what was shown.
They also bought a derelict Castle, not too far from Edinburgh, a year or two ago which they are renovating. Maybe that was shown in that TV programme too. I have no ideas at all about the photos of girls on bikes on the staircase, though. That'll be another question for Howie!!

didnt show the castle just trying to sell their old house, and probably was a year or two old, we get the TV shows a long time after they air on your BBC
