Welcome!
As a fomer active-duty Marine, I spent many years living and working in North Carolina, mainly in eastern North Carolina near Jacksonville and Wilmington. I used to travel to UNC-Chapel Hill to run workouts on their track, as well as on campus of NC State in the Raleigh-Durham area. I loved North Carolina, and miss it dearly.
My lovely wife (also a former active-duty Marine stationed in NC) and I are planning a summer holiday for 2012, with hopes of returning to eastern North Carolina and spending time at Cape Hatteras, Nags Head, Swansboro, Emerald Isle, Jacksonville, Wilmington (Wrightsville Beach), and concluding our trip at Grandfather Mountain in western North Carolina, for the Highland games.
We may have to visit long time XMTS forum members, David Pope and Matthew Newsome along the way!!!
