    Weird! A similar thing happend to me a while back, except it was a white ribbon. Doesn't that just mean "participant?" Embarassing.

    Now, if I could just come up with a funny word to rhyme with 'participate' I could deliver an alternate ending to the song.

    It's one of my favorite songs. Once I was directing an opera called Die Fledermaus. In the middle of the second act there is a party scene and often a company will have various other performers come in and perform during that scene as if it is part of the opera. I started out as a singer (and still perform) so she asked if I wanted to be one of those performers. I said I did but rather than a classical piece I had something else in mind. I did this number and it was a big hit.
