    Scottish Shirt Studs

All humor aside, where does one find nice Scottish/Celtic shirt studs (or cufflink/stud sets) for formal occasions? Googling has not proven very effective as the selection found is really limited.
    Thanks!

I think you will be out of luck as far as celtic studs go. I have been searching myself and studs tend to be either much of a muchness (usually black onyx) or very expensive solid silver (usually black onyx)

K J Beckett at http://www.kjbeckett.com/acatalog/shirtstuds.html has some interesting designs and Silver Groves at http://www.silvergroves.co.uk/ecomme...hirt~Studs.htm has some nice upmarket studs but none of them are celtic

I agree with David. I don't think that they exist. At all the functions, I have attended, I have never seen anyone wearing anything other than black onyx, mother of pearl, gold or silver. I think the coloured ones look a little "cheap". Rather like a turquoise tuxedo - it might very well have cost a fortune to make, but it is still a turquoise tuxedo.

    Celtic Inheritance cuff links

(edited to add: They are expensive, but they do exist.)

Well, live and learn. Not just one, but a whole range. The only thing I am not seeing is a diameter. The pictures can't be life sized, so what, I wonder, is the size.

    Regards

Good question. I suppose one would need to contact them to ask about size. I can only assume they would be sized appropriately for what they are.

Note for Bugbear: they have bolo ties too! But they are Celtic themed, which may be a sticking point for you.

Those are pretty cool. Pricey, sure, but cool.

As the OP I'd like to thank all who posted. Now we need to get our favorite vendors to sell this stuff.
