Sporrans?
Hi Steve!
If I recall correctly, It was you who were investigating a new sporran design to hold as much or more as the famous Nightstalker, while looking more like a traditional design.
Any progress on that?

Re: Sporrans?
I have the first prototype (in fact I'm wearing it right now).
I sent some suggestions to the sporran makers on small stuff like a better fold for the top flap and a small detail to dress it up.
I expect the 2nd prototype in about two or three weeks.
Sorry, I still can't post a photo of this design as, believe it or not, someone has already tried to copy it.
The Jones on this is as great for me as it is for you folks but as they say, "patience is......a pain."

Re: Sporrans?
It is a shame that the Takers get to rip off the Makers so readily. I am looking forward to your new sporrans. I have several perfectly nice ones, but...
I went through the same thing with guitars a few years ago (GAS=Guitar Acquisition Syndrome). Fortunately, Sporrans are more affordable.
Speaking of Nightstalkers, I have the black nylon and brown leather. They are great values, and I check the web site in case they offer black leather again. I have noticed that there are no Nightstalkers on the web site now. I guess they sold out for the season.

This is the first I've heard of such a thing, but can this be possible? If this can be done at an affordable price, you sir, will make a fortune!!

Re: Sporrans?
I'm horribly upset that your hard work has been "cloned" so early in the process. How on earth would they manage that? Is there a "leak" at the manufacturer?

Re: Sporrans?
I am just off the phone with the Sporran makers and they tell me that I should have the second prototype in very soon.
At that time I can release photos.
