Re: Mid Winter Pics of Loch Lomond and Loch Long
Thank you for sharing these! It looks quite different from the pictures my mother took when she visited there a few years ago (being the ancestral seat of our clan). She had visited during the height of tourist season, apparently. Your pictures make it look much more quaint than hers.
I, too, must make it there one day. It's like a pilgrimage that I need to do.

I'd love to go there someday as well, I'd also like to go to Snowdonia in Wales. I have to say however that I've heard that NC is quite beautiful (Mountainous) too?
Can't recall if I've been through NC, but I was always fond of the drive through Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee.

Re: Mid Winter Pics of Loch Lomond and Loch Long
Thank you for the photos, I want to go to Scotland in the winter some day. Took a self guided bike tour of the Highlands this past June and these photos bring back so many wonderful images and memories I shared with my GF. I would love to see and hike the hills during the winter, perhaps my favorite season. I could easily move to Scotland. Anyone need a pub brewer for a small brewery or brewpub in Scotland, Im your brewer. Again thanks for the beautiful photos.
