Like Chas, Star and I are members of the RSCDS and kilts are worn to all the class and monthly parties (and the male teachers always wear one to the regular classes)
We are also members of the Nor Cal Rabble so with our monthly get togethers I see other kilted gents on a weekly basis.
Cheers

Zero times. Once I saw someone in a casual kilt. I wear mine almost every day in the summer, and less often in the other months. I have three kilts now, the last one from Bilt Kilt. It's good to be back with an adroit group of kilties.

Re: Poll: How often do you see kilts worn?
Leaving out the times I see my next door neighbor leave or return from a pipe gig, I probably see 3 a year. The last one at Inner Harbor, Baltimore, Md. We stopped and talked for a few minutes. He is familiar with this site, but not a member.

Probably around 25 times a year, as I see the occasional random passing man in a kilt a few times a year, and not counting myself then, have one friend I see more regulalry in the summer (he is my bike mechanic) who is kilted nearly daily (and rides his bike 10 miles to work each way nearly every day) but typically in utility kilts rather than traditional tartan kilts.

NEVER (or every day on XMarks!)
I must have the only kilts in the south of France. The French Kilties seem to be all north of Paris, excepting Robert and Chrystel of course but they're a fair way away from me, too.

Two or three times a year ,but it's the same three guys.
I think we may be the only ones in our area with kilts.

Excluding all that? Zero times...
Except for the utilikilt wearer who works at my neighborhood Target.

Excluding all of those, perhaps once or twice normally.

Less than 5. There is one kilted patron at our local Pub. We see him occasionally kilted.

If your talking a traditional tartan kilt, nearly zip (5x or less). If your talking a Utilikilt we have /or had a couple individuals who sport one daily, so probably 10 to 25x a year....we don't cross paths that often, though I know they exist.
