Winter in a Kilt

I would like to extend the kilt season into winter. Here, in the nation's capital, it dips into the -20C's and sometimes into the -30C's. Has anyone braved this in a kilt?

I have in fact in your back yard. I worked at the NAC doing opera and I was often in my kilt in the depths of an Ottawa winter!
