Re: Yuletide greetings!
I read somewhere that there are three ancient Mayan calendars in the possession of anthropologists. One indeed does end Dec. 12th next. One has already ended, and one goes well into the future.
The one in my kitchen ends Dec. 31st. Does that panic anyone?

If the world ends, we will still be here.

Unless the reason it ends is :cthulhusmiley:

Re: Yuletide greetings!
"Thus from generation to generation it goes bounding over lakes and woods and mountains...
And for this end these silken streamers have been perfecting themselves all summer, snugly packed in this light chest,
a perfect adaptation to this end - a prophecy not only of the fall, but of future springs.
Who could believe in prophecies that the world would end this summer, while one milkweed with faith matured its seeds?"
