Late January on or close to the date of the bard's birthday, 25th January, is really the traditional season for Burns Suppers here in Scotland and I am already committed to my local one here in Hawick.
Dumfries is not too far away so maybe I shall join you on one or other of the Friday evening suppers at Cavens and kilted pub crawls.
