Does anyone else find a mob of grown men discussing their weight, waist and butt sizes just a bit odd?

The same can be said about a group of white hair and bearded men (who are Santas) sitting around talking about what hair products and procedures they use to keep their beard and hair looking good for the season.

I make the rest of you look positively Lilliputian, I'm afraid.

I'm 6' 8 1/2", and weigh 310lbs. My waist is around 47-48".

At last another real GOS. I can't tell you how highly delighted I was yesterday when I purchased a new tweed jacket in the post Xmas sale. It was only a 54" chest. Guess I need another burger as I thought I would need a 56".

As an adult I have gone through all the sizes in the poll, and am now starting back down again as long as I avoid carbohydrate dense foods.

Low carb is the only way for me - I can put on weight on so called reducing diets if they have more than 60 gm of carb a day.

I still have some really good suede skirts from my 26 inch waist days - they would probably make handbags.

Looking at all the sizes and shapes we have, it's worth mentioning that the kilt (if properly measured and crafted) is one of the few garments that will look damn fine regardless of size and body type. The same cannot be said of most clothing available to men, as even a well-made suit will not look right if the style doesn't compliment a fellow's shape.

I wish I had a picture of myself in tails to illustrate this point.

I must say that i am quite satisfied by these results, i wasn't really aiming for any thing in particular when i started it but, i really enjoy reading about every one, and i think it may have even got some to thinking about changing their life styles or just trying to get into those old 'shrunken' kilts again. (possibly a new years resolution for some?)

i left the poll open, so that we could try and get as many members to vote as possible and see if eventually things even out or if one size grouping takes a larger lead over another.
