    Whoah....Nice Job! It's looking great. You've lined up the horizontal lines, spot on.

    You should be proud of this!

    I happen to agree with the idea that it makes sense to do your first traditional kilt on something a bit less expensive. It's a lot of work, and it takes patience and you don't really know if you've got that patience until you do it. It would hurt to mess up $200+ worth of tartan. Better to work on $60 worth and see how it goes.

    But you're going gangbusters....two thumbs up!

    I like the spacing of the pleats. From a distance you can't tell which two stripes are on the same pleat or one from two neighboring pleats. I think you've got the goods. Keep at it.
