You know, when I made the original post in this thread it was because I both got a chuckle from the "rules" & knew that others, like myself, would/could appreciate it them for what they were. I NEVER imagined the heartburn it might cause.

You know, I don't mind a little heartburn now and then, and I think that a good, solid, loud disagreement where people get to see, crystal clearly, that there is more than one perspective on an issue is a Good Thing.

I am GLAD that you made your original post. In fact, I'm VERY glad. I think it has been good for XMarks. I also think that it's time to move on, eh? Truth is, the focal point of the forum is kilts, and that is something we all share. I'll be taking a bit of Steves advice, and now that I've had my say, will be refocusing on the thing that we all have in common.

I'm also glad that Panache, who could be mighty tee'd off about the whole thing, is being himself, and keeping his sense of humour intact. Believe it or not, mine is functioning as well! Yeah, yeah, I know....Ha! but I still am not drinking Gin and Tonic. So I'll toast you and Panache with three fingers of Aberlour 14 year.
