Why should I wear my kilt on April 26.....?
Looking for an excuse... any excuse to wear your kilt today? Well... April 26 is famous because:
1. RC Duncan patented the disposable diaper this day in 1965.
2. April 26, 1959 saw the birth of singer Sheena Easton. 
3. The first Odd Fellows lodge in the U.S. was established in Baltimore, Maryland on this day in 1819. The official name of the organization is the Independent Order (of) Odd Fellows or IOOF.
4. This day in 1785, American naturalist and artist John James Audubon was born.
So pick one of the above (or another one if you like) , strap on a kilt, smile and have fun.

Well heck, you might as well wear your kilt every day, just for the fact that Sheena Easton was born at all! Her music with Prince was a pivotal piece in American pop culture! Oh, Sheena.....
