I'd love to! But think I will have do the independent study correspondence class.

I just bought Barbara Tewksbury's book "The Art of Kiltmaking", and in a month or two, I will attempt to make a solid color kilt out of duck cloth.

I wish I had the time for traveling to the other side of the continent for that. If it were within a couple hours drive from me (on either side of the border) I'd come, but I guess I'll have to stick to working from the book. Besides, I want my traditional kilt made before then.

I am giving this some serious consideration. I got the schedule today for work related activities where I must be present. None conflict with the proposed dates of this event.

Oooo sooo tempting. I will have to seriously look at my schedule and bank account. And so conveniently located.

However, I do have one question. What is considered "Contemporary kiltmaking" in this context? Box pleats? 4-yard? etc?

I will keep this in mind. Thank you for such long fore-notice.
