and soldered a pin back to it and wore it as a kilt pin?

That would have some possibilities, depending on the size. However, if it is small enough, I might be able to affix it to the handle of the knife CMcG recommended for daywear, using the chain hanger at the top to cover the hole in the handle (after removing the lanyard) and allowing the medallion proper to serve as a decorative element on the wider part of the handle. Worth investigating. Thanks!

(Assuming this piece is from Virgin Bee, as shown in the picture, that would be great. I have ordered a number of pins from them in the past for my motorcycle vest. They make lovely jewelry.)
