I welcome the invitation though I doubt I will be posting much here (the dancers have their own forum after all.
I practice and have now performed with a demonstration team. This requires both a lot of leg strength and flexibility. This differs a bit from the explosive strength that I understand highland athletes work toward. Our leg extensions need power but most important is for them to appear effortless. To that end, besides stretching, I have decided that hiking and cycling will be the best way to build up my leg muscles.
I wish everyone here susccess in their regimes as they pursue their athletic goals.
