Let me add my welcome also. When the time is right I might suggest you look at USAkilts. They offer a nice "semi-traditional" kilt at a very reasonable price. Also they have a very nice looking tartan called "celtic nations" that would be appropriate for anyone with even an ounce of celltic blood.
And as Artificer said, beware. I bought mt first kilt and ended up with 14 more items to go with it and I still do not have everything I need. (read want)
