    Muted Barclay kilt

    My latest completion. A muted Barclay tartan kilt, four yard box pleated. I paired it with a nice pair of mustard colored Rannoch hose for the photo.

    That is a very cool tartan! How faithful are the photo colors to the real deal?

    And, why must my "wish list" always be so much longer than my "got list"?

    Did you use one and a half setts per pleat, making it pleated to the sett? Its what you advised me a few years ago.

    The colors are fairly accurate. The physical item is a bit darker and more muted, in my opinion. The lighting in the picture made the tartan look brighter than it was, so I toned the color down a bit in the pic before I posted it.
