Re: Victoria Kilt Night Proposal: March 19 or 20
Let me think about it -- I won't forgo the Victoria meeting, but I may be able to add another meeting in or near Abbotsford. I will start a new thread for that if I find that my schedule will allow for that... :-)

Eithr locale, Jim. I'm here in Vancouver all of March so can travel to Abbotsford or Victoria at will (and at the promise of a fine dram).

I'd love to meet you and your wife, Jim. I have family in town then so it might be iffy, but Anna and I will try to make whatever night you're here in Victoria.

We would enjoy meeting you and your wife. I can think of a couple of establishments where we can go for fine beer and scotch.

To those who have responded affirmatively for a Victoria kilt night, do you have a preference as to whether it's the evening of the 19th or the evening of the 20th?
(BTW, I'm still working on something for Abbotsford area in terms of dates... Veuillez patienter, SVP...)

Does it have to be an or situation? We are a real modern town. We have more than one pub. I'll bet I can even find you a Karaoke bar so you can show off your stuff.

Well, no... I have no problems with EVERY night being a kilted pub night... I just want to minimize the chances of scheduling conflicts... ith:

You'll have to check out the Downtown Historic Railway, if it's running. We usually operate Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 12:30pm - 5:30 pm from the middle of May to the middle of October. Anticipated first weekend will be 12-13 of May.

But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

My preference is March 19. March 20 may work, but I have a possible conflict.
