This tartan is from a pleated skirt worn by the wife of one of our kilt night mates, she wants to know what tartan it is.

    any ideas anyone?

    Graham,

I have found this site useful in the past for finding out what a particular tartan is.

    http://www.house-of-tartan.scotland....se/reverse.asp

    I hope it helps.

if it's a womans skirt it's possible it's not a named tartan, there are 100's of tartans out there, not identified.

There are tons of "fabric store tartans". Not true tartans but similar looking plaids.
