    silk tartan sash

My wife and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary last month. My gift to her this year was this custom woven silk tartan sash in our New House Highland tartan. She'll be wearing it for the first time at our Burns Supper this weekend.

I thought I'd show it off a bit here...

That's a nice tartan matt... Are the wool colours the same?

Wonderful looking scarf too, I'm sure your wife will appreciate it. Is that going to be a new line for you?

The wool colors are a bit different, but close. The green in the silk is lighter.

Here is the wool, for comparison.

    Re: silk tartan sash

Beautiful! May I ask who is the maker of the silk sash? My wife has all of the Robertson tartans (her clan, and maiden name), as well as all of the Macpherson tartans in standard, 11oz wool sashes, but I've always wanted to get her a nice tartan sash in silk.

    Cheers Matt,

Very lovely. Beautiful colors. Enjoy your Burns Night together! And, since you planted the seed, naturally, we'll expect photos in due course. :-)
