Re: Any Camerons?
So far it's you and me. I'd like to know where the rest of us are, too.

Re: Any Camerons?
A Cameron here in Southern Colorado. MY paternal grandmother was a Cameron from Stevenson, Alabama. Came to Colorado in the 1930's.

Re: Any Camerons?
Missed the other post too. Cameron is a proud line of mine too. My great great great grandmother Catherine Cameron married my 3 great grandfather John Macdonald. They emmigrated from Staffin, Skye to Skye Glen, CBI Nova Scotia in 1854.

Cameron Black and Red from House of Edgar's Old and Rare collection 13 ounce wool 8 yard hand sewn by Kathy Lare.

Cameron Modern 16 ounce Lochcarron Strome 5 yard wool machine sewn by USA Kilts.
I always stop at the Cameron tent at games - freindly kin and they always seem to have the best cookies!

Re: Any Camerons?
I am also a "Taylor" Cameron. The Taylors went to Ireland after the Highland Clearances and then to the New World in the early 1800's and settled in West Virginia.

westy:
Interesting. My grandmother Cameron's father's name was Taylor Cameron. I never knew him nor do I know much about the Camerons who immigrated to Tennessee and Alabama, late 1700's and early 1800's. Geneology on that side of the family is scarice.
riverkilt: nice photos!!!
