I can understand that, Ron. Though I must admit, growing up in San Jose and Monterey, I would look forward to the winter storms.
Back in the '90's ('95 I believe) I was assigned to Phoenix for three months (February thru April) and I enjoyed the dessert. The only downside was having to wear wool suits in the 100+ temperatures we were seeing by mid April.
