looking for dark/british khaki uniform shirts

I wear a uniform daily in my work and have always liked the military look in my shirts, button up pleated pockets and epaulets, but due to the sometimes dirty nature of my work avoid light colors. American khaki is just to light for my taste so I ask does anyone know of a source for dark or british khaki military style uniform shirts? Two I have located onvthe web are jhiggins and uswings. I'm not sure if the jhiggins is a dark khaki and the uswings is a replica of american WWII tropical uniforms and the small pockets are not to my liking.
    Thanks in advance.

Not military but military-derived, and available in both short and long sleeved versions in several colors. The Tan is actually a bit darker than the British Tan; I'm wearing the British Tan in the pic below:

Not necessarily this year, but sometimes LL Bean will have something. Look for colors with names like Bark. They have a "sunwashed twill shirt" that has the pockets, but no epaulets and the tan is called Sandstone, so I wouldn't count on that one. The days of a merchant offering the same thing year in and year out seem gone, so maybe you will have better luck another year. I would try all of the outdoor catalogues and I would check back periodically. You might also see what is offered by pilot's suppliers, as this style of shirt is popular with them, too.

Have you considered an OD or other green shirt? Are you strictly cotton or strictly no-iron?

PROPPER (with the double P) makes a full line of military-ish uniform clothing. They offer a brown shirt that might not be too dark. They are also on eBay, but probably available from your local uniform supplier.

Here is an outlier that might just work:

If you have a patch to sew over the pre-printed corporal's stripes or you are a corporal, the same seller has this one:

    Or this one:

I like that Cabela's shirt, too! Just ordered some nice brown walking shoes from them.

Lands End has a "field shirt" on sale. Navy, tan, and olive. No epaulettes.

    Here is the link.

I have a couple of shirts that were made along these lines by Columbia. I've got one in a chocolate brown and another in a forest green color. Also, have one that was given to me by J Peterman that was too large for my father in law, but will say if you're looking to wear it to work their clothes can be a bit pricey.

As Jaeson mentioned, What Price Glory is the place to look next. It has several shirts to choose from. The darkest shirt is this wool pull-over American military.
