    Soft Day Sporran

Some months ago Scott (AKA Artificer) and I began talking about a trade. Here's my end of the deal. It's an oxblood soft leather day bag. Soft is truly an operative word here. The leather is so supple it is beyond compare. I have to be careful or people will catch me stroking the velvety bag. The workmanship is every bit as admirable with detailed pinking and a red velvet interior which includes a business card slot. I wear it whenever I can and ensure that it's not going to get trashed by wrestling with my son. I'm so pleased. Working with Scott on the details was also a real joy. He's the kind of artisan who really listens to the customer and has terrific advice to share. I hope this type of bag, which isn't quite something we see around a lot, becomes a kind of signature piece for him because its unique and very functional. If you're considering an Artificer sporran I cannot recommend one highly enough. You'll have a masterpiece.

    Thanks X,

This soft hunter is definitely a style you're going to see more of. When I eventually find the time, I'll be making one for myself

Scott, the only problem I find with your sporrans, is that they are all so incredibly brilliant that I want one of each. That means building an extra room on the house to store them all. I'll let you know when the lotto man delivers the winners cheque.

Thanks again, Mike! Once you've got the builders in, you let me know. I've got a few things in the works (and they've been in the works for a LOOONG time, if you know what I mean) that you might finally have to cave on once that lotto man calls round.
